Are the servers down?
If your app isn’t syncing, data is missing, or you’re seeing errors after or before your sync, like ES02, there’s a chance our servers may be experiencing temporary issues.
⚙️ Recent Server Stability Improvements
Good news first — we’ve recently upgraded our infrastructure to improve server stability.
That said, synchronization may still take a bit longer, and on days of exceptionally high user traffic, some syncs **may be partially or totally rejected** by the server to maintain stability for everyone.
🛠️ What’s Happening?
Several factors can cause temporary outages:
- Rapidly growing user base
- Sync spikes during peak times (e.g., morning)
🔎 These issues are not related to the ring itself. Your Circular Ring 2 is working just fine — this is purely a cloud infrastructure issue.
🚫 What NOT to Do
Please do not uninstall the app or log out of it.
Doing so will erase your local data and won’t solve the problem. In fact, it could make things worse.
✅ What to Do Instead
- You can synchronize during off-peak hours, i.e., not right after you wake up, because everyone synchronizes within a short timeframe.
- There’s nothing else you need to do on your side.
- Wait and try syncing again later or the next day
- Check possible server status here: circularring.statuspage.io
What’s Coming Next?
We’re not done improving! Our next upgrades include:
- A new database architecture, giving each user a dedicated calculation instance for faster, conflict-free syncing
- Faster scoring systems that bring sync times down to under 3 seconds
- All changes will retain ISO-certified security, hosted in Paris, France
These upgrades are in motion and will ensure Circular can scale reliably to millions of users.
Why Weekends May Be Slower
Support and system resets from providers can be delayed on weekends, so some outages may last up to 48 hours in rare cases.
We’re actively working with our partners to minimize this.
