I can't synchronize my data or I don't see my sleep or activity data inside of the app
If your data isn’t showing in the app, here are a few quick steps to ensure proper synchronization between your Circular Ring and the Circular app.
First, make sure your ring is connected to the app:
If Airplane Mode is turned on, your ring won’t sync.
Open the Circular app and look at your Sleep and Energy Circles. If they are grayed out, you are likely in Airplane Mode.
To turn off Airplane Mode:
Tap the Airplane Mode icon in the quick-access bar at the top of your homepage.
You can also find it under the menu (☰) in the top-left corner of the app.
Once Airplane Mode is disabled, your ring will automatically sync a few seconds after connected to the app.
You can also manually trigger a sync by doing a pull-down gesture (swipe down) on your Circular app home screen.

The app follows four steps during synchronization:
Ring ➜ App – The ring sends data to your phone.
App ➜ Server – The app uploads your data to the Circular cloud.
Server ➜ App – Your data is processed and returned to your app.
Display – Your updated data is visible in the app.
Each step may take a few seconds. You’ll only see your new metrics after Step 4 is complete.
🔧 If the sync gets stuck at 0% or any other percentage:
Make sure your phone is not in Power Saving Mode that can limit Bluetooth functionality.
Try again by killing the app (swipe up from background running app) and restarting it.
Go to My Ring > Manage my devices > Tap the red ❌ > Delete the ring from your phone’s Bluetooth list.
Then, reconnect the ring by setting it up as a new device in the app.
Nope! 🙌
Once your data has synced and you’ve viewed it, you can safely close or kill the app — the data will remain saved and updated.
