I don't see my sleep or activity data inside of the app after sync

We are aware of a problem where the sleep data is occasionally not computed following the initial sync upon waking up. But the sleep data should be recalculated if you sync a second time after ten minutes. We are working on a permanent fix. Please review the details below if you don't have sleep data for several days despite syncing several times during the day.


If your data isn’t showing in the app after sync, here are a few quick steps to ensure proper synchronization between your Circular Ring and the Circular app.

Manually Recalibrating the PPG Sensor

To recalibrate the PPG sensor, follow these steps:

  1. Open the app and go to the top-left menu.
  2. Select Settings > Self-Diagnostic.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions. You will need a piece of white paper for the recalibration process.


Verifying Successful Recalibration

After recalibrating, confirm that the issue is resolved by:

  1. Returning to the Live Measurements circle.
  2. Checking if the Quality Index now displays your data.
