I don't see the live ECG trace on iOS

If you're unable to view your ECG live graph in the Circular app, it may be due to a setting on your iPhone called Reduce Motion.

This setting is designed to limit animations for accessibility purposes, but it can unintentionally hide live visualizations like the ECG trace.

How to Check and Fix the Issue

To ensure the ECG live graph displays properly, follow these steps:

1. Open your iPhone Settings

2. Go to:

Settings → Accessibility → Motion

3. Check the "Reduce Motion" option

Make sure this is turned OFF.

If it's ON, toggle it OFF to enable visual animations.

⚠️ Why this matters:
When "Reduce Motion" is turned on, it disables certain animations and dynamic UI elements—including the ECG graph animation.

📱 Confirmed Devices

We’ve tested the ECG feature on the iPhone 15, and it works normally when "Reduce Motion" is disabled.

🧠 Pro Tip: Your ECG trace may also take a few seconds to appear once the signal is detected, stay still and give it a moment.
