My data synchronization gets stuck at 0% or any other %percentage, and/or the app closes / crashes during the sync

If the sync get stuck at 0% or other percentages

This error occurs when a tiny portion of your data isn't recognized by the app during the synchronization process.

How to fix it: We have built a safety process to handle this. After a bit of time being stuck, you will see a "home.sync.error" message, please follow these steps:

  1. Click the Retry button: The app will automatically attempt to remove the unrecognized data fragment and restart the sync.
  2. Try 1–2 times: It may take a couple of attempts for the cleanup to succeed.
  3. Restart the app: If the error persists, completely close and reopen the app.

If the app crashes during sync

  • Make sure your phone is not in Power Saving Mode, which can limit Bluetooth functionality.
  • Try again by killing the app (swipe up from the background running apps) and restarting it.
  • You can also try deactivating your phone's Bluetooth for a few minutes and reactivating it.
  • If not working, go to My Ring > Factory reset to delete corrupted data from the ring. Please note that after a factory reset, you will need to set up your ring again on the charger. Please first delete the ring from your phone's Bluetooth settings, and then set up the ring again in the Circular App as the first time.

If the app crashes directly at opening

It looks like there might be a problem with your app. Please clear the app's cache in your phone's app settings, or uninstall and then reinstall the app to fix it.

If that didn't solve it, there might be a compatibility issue. Read this.
