Smart Alarm Clock / timer does not work

If your Circular Alarm Clock or Timer does not trigger as expected, please check the following:


🔹 On Android

  • Ensure you have granted notification authorization for the Circular app. To check this, you can press and hold the Circular app logo and click on the information point > Authorization.


🔹 On iOS

  • Make sure you have added the Circular app as an exception in your phone's settings for:

-Focus Mode / Do Not Disturb

-Sleep Mode (if enabled)

  • Ensure you have granted notification authorization to the Circular app.


Special note for iOS < 26

Users running iOS versions earlier than iOS 26 will face a system restriction. In this case, you will see a notification reminding you to keep the app running in the foreground or background to ensure alarms and timers work correctly.


Debugging Tip
  • To confirm the alarm system is working correctly, set an alarm for the next 2 minutes and check if it triggers.
