Why are my data incomplete in the Circular App?
Calibration period
When you create your account, you enter into a 14-day calibration period where Kira, your personal assistant, will learn about you. During the first 4 days, you'll have limited data in your sleep and energy circles. Basically everything that needs references and baselines, which are derived from the long term average, is being built. Learn more about the calibration period.
Checking for Data Tracking Issues
After the initial calibration period, if your ring is not tracking data, you can verify this by following these steps:
- Navigate to the Live Measurements circle in the app.
- Ensure the ring is properly worn on your finger.
- Wait for 15 seconds. If no Quality Index data appears, the PPG sensor may require recalibration.
Manually Recalibrating the PPG Sensor
To recalibrate the PPG sensor, follow these steps:
- Open the app and go to the top-left menu.
- Select Settings > Self-Diagnostic.
- Follow the on-screen instructions. You will need a piece of white paper for the recalibration process.
Verifying Successful Recalibration
After recalibrating, confirm that the issue is resolved by:
- Returning to the Live Measurements circle.
- Checking if the Quality Index now displays your data.
